To win their heart, or be left heartbroken?

2023 Event Coordinator: AsheKat Cosplay

This year we will be bringing you a PG-13 style dating game
Please be advised that all applicants must be 16 years or older to participate.

A stunning and available bachelor is placed on one side of a lonely curtain. On the other side of the curtain are three mysterious singles dying to win their heart and enjoy the date of a lifetime. Only one can win this Bachelor’s heart, the others must walk away with their heads held high (or hung with shame, it doesn’t matter to us). With your help you can help the bachelor decide! Come and support your favorite characters as they bring their crazy and wild self onto our stage. This is considered a PG-13 event, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is above the age of 18.

How it Works: The Cosplay Dating Game is a comedic event where a cosplayer sits on one side of the stage, and asks three anonymous contestants a series of surprise questions to win a date! The contestants answer the questions in character and the audience assists in choosing which contestant wins based on their responses.

We will have the opportunity for “last minute participants” during the event itself if time allows. There will be a sign-up sheet during set-up for anyone who understands that this is an improv event and is comfortable being on stage. IDs will be double checked at the sign up table to verify that participants are 18+ years old.

Are you curious if this might be ‘the one’? Then follow your heart and sign up NOW!

IMPORTANT: Cosplay Event Rules and Regulations are posted on the Cosplay Events main page. If you have not already, review these BEFORE you apply to any ConnectiCon events. There may be something that is run differently at this convention than others that you have attended.

DATING GAME RULES & GUIDELINES:

  • All applicants/participants must be at 18+ years old by the time of Conneticon (July 20th, 2023)
  • The Asker’s questions are the only scripted pieces. However, improv is welcome for questions as well.

  • Answerers, you may talk with your competitors and banter amongst yourselves
