Friday, February 5, 2010 @ the Newington Office & Conference Center 705 North Mountain Road, Newington, CT 06111 - we'll be hosting Friday Night Magic @ 9pm and a Worldwake Launch Party @ 10pm.

Sanctioned - Friday Night Magic - Zendikar Block Booster Draft

Entry Fee is $15.
Registration starts at 7pm, show up early and get some trading in, or play some standard or extended.
Draft starts at 9pm.
Prize support: 2 packs will be added to the prize pool for each player in the tournament, prizes will be awarded to the top half of players. Additionally, the February FNM exclusive Foil card Ghostly Prison will be awarded to the top two places and to two players at random.
Description: Description: Each player will receive three packs to draft with, each player will open one pack at a time, select a card, and pass that pack, this will be done for each pack, until all three packs have been drafted. Players will then construct a 40-card minimum deck from the cards they drafted. Basic lands will be provided.

After our weekly Friday Night Magic tournament at 9pm on Friday, February 5, 2010, ConnectiCon will be hosting a Worldwake Launch Party @ 10pm. ConnectiCon will be holding the Launch Party tournaments at the Newington Office & Conference Center, 705 North Mountain Road, Newington, CT 06111.

Sanctioned Launch Party - Sealed Deck - Worldwake (Friday, February 5, 2010 at 10:00pm, Sign-ups begin at 7:00pm.)

Entry Fee: $30
Prize Support: 1st Place - Booster Box (36 Packs) of Worldwake, 2nd Place - Half Booster Box (18 packs) of Worldwake, 3rd Place - 12 Packs of Worldwake, 4th Place - 6 Packs of Worldwake. Each player will also receive a FREE Worldwake Launch Party Foil - Joraga Bard (while supplies last). Additional Prize Support will be allocated should more than 16 players participate.
Description: Each player will receive six booster packs to draft with (3 Zendikar, 3 Worldwake). Players will then construct a deck of at least 40 cards, including basic lands. Basic lands will be provided for this event.
